My name is Matthew Spira and this is a special Memorial Day presentation of my complete THE SILENCE collection of poems about the soldier and veteran experience.
I don’t claim to speak for all of us affected by war but these poems represent my best attempts to articulate what many of us do in fact feel and have trouble expressing about what we lived through.
I dedicate this to everyone around the world who has been affected by war.
