I’m so sorry this happened to you. I unfortunately know a number of women who were raped, including a friend in college who was gang raped in her dorm; several of whom never reported what happened to them. One who did step forward described the process as being raped all over again.

I hope and pray (to the God I don’t believe in) that if anything were to happen to my daughter that she will tell someone so that she doesn’t have to try to bear it all alone.
