I’m of a couple minds about this. On one hand, writing every day is definitely an excellent practice (for those who have the time), but in terms of churning out posts for publication on a daily basis? People should do whatever works for them, I suppose, and all I can really attest to are my reader habits here on Medium. Quality stuff will consistently get my attention. When it comes to the names that I see consistently putting out lots of stories, I definitely see some real stretches for topic ideas. And there are a couple writers I’ve basically stopped reading altogether because all they seem to do is regurgitate things with only slight variations. People by all means should work at a pace that works for them, but I don’t think you ultimately do yourself any favors with a quantity over quality approach.
