I’m a committed Liberal, but this is a pet peeve of mine. “What the fuck is wrong with you cunt” is clearly a violation of Twitter rules, no matter how much the you believe the comment was justified. Also no matter how inconsistently Twitter applies its rules. The Nazis were not responsible for getting you kicked off Twitter, you were. And your second account was an attempt to contravene your first account’s suspension. Again, that’s only on you. Like I repeatedly tell my children, you are responsible for your own behavior, no excuses.

I’m all for engaging with and combating the trolls, but you have to know the rules. Especially if it is important for you as a journalist to be able to have access to Twitter.
