If the conservatives among my FB friends are any indication, the hypocrisies don’t bother them at all. They are pounding on Biden as a “rapist” with absolute glee. It’s about power for them. Nothing else.

And perhaps they are not entirely wrong. Given the pandemic and everything associated with it, what’s McConnell’s priority with bringing the Senate back in session? To get their list of judges confirmed. They are putting in young(-ish) hyper-conservative judges wherever they can, who will be in the judicial system for 30+ years.

So I’m glad one of the conclusions of this article is it is still okay to vote for Biden. Because one of two people will be the next President, Biden or Trump. There are no other choices and no other outcomes. As long as we’re clear about that, everyone should look at the available evidence about Reade’s allegation, make their own conclusions, and decide how to respond.
