I work in a hospital, and one of the things I see over and over again are people who have made it to their elderly years, but are completely financially unprepared. I agree with your advice of being responsible but also enjoying life in the present. That to me is a worthwhile investment, but here’s the but: take the time to understand what retirement is truly going to cost after you stop working.
