I 100% agree with everything you wrote. The attitude espoused by the OP is tediously lazy and intellectually vacuous. It's pathetic. Conservatives understand you have to win elections first before you do anything else. That's why for the last generation there has been conscious conservative focus on local and State-level elections. 20% turn-out elections where *they* turn-out just enough is why the GOP has a stranglehold over many States.

Biden is the Democratic nominee. Do progressives honestly not see a difference between him and Trump at this point? That's just mind-boggling. But whatever. To answer your question, they clearly are more interested in "virtue signaling" than actually trying to do the un-glamorous, often boring groundwork of unfucking the country-- one education board meeting, one zoning meeting, one mundane issue (after the other) at a time.

I believe this election is entirely about turn-out. More specifically turn-out in the eight or so battleground States, which includes my State of Wisconsin. I'm not going to bother with anyone who feels entitled enough to claim Biden has to "earn" his or her vote. I'll be doing everything I can to help make sure those who understand voting for Biden is not a complicated question have the opportunity to do so.
